The bedroom is a great size (240 sq ft) with a large window and an air conditioner. It has a desk, a tv, plenty of closet space and a very comfortable full sized bed with brand new mattress. It is in a 2 bedroom apartment shared with one other person.

The apartment itself is gorgeous. There is laundry in the building as well as a dishwasher in the apartment. The bedrooms lay on opposite sides of the apartment, so it is easy to feel as if you live alone. There is a living room (with a dining table), eat in kitchen and shared bathroom with a tub. There is a large screen tv in the living room with a DVD player and a Roku with access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and any other accounts you may want to add.

The apartment is right in the middle of 4 neighborhoods - Fort Greene, Prospect Heights, Park Slope and Boerum Hill. It is a 10 minute walk to both Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park and right around the corner from the Barclays Center. It is also within blocks of most train lines in the city (2,3,4,5,N,Q,R,B,D,C,G). The very best thing about the apartment is its accessibility to the city and other neighborhoods in Brooklyn. The commute is about 35 minutes to midtown, 25 minutes to Union Square, 30 Minutes to Williamsburg and 15 to lower Manhattan. There are tons of coffee shops, bars and restaurants within blocks (some of my favorites are Olmsted, Habana Outpost, Weather Up and Morgans BBQ).

Athena will be living in the other room. She is a busy, working healthcare professional. She is respectful and clean and happy to answer any questions about the neighborhood or New York.

Available dates are May 1 - June 30, Price includes rent, electric, gas and wireless internet and cleaning service every 2 weeks. 2 week minimum, $600/ week. No couples please (long term guests incur additional charge)
