// THE APARTMENT
This apartment is on the first floor of a three-family house in the Adams Village area in Dorchester. It is quite large with three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, bathroom, and kitchen with a walk-in pantry.

The apartment is fully furnished and has all the things you might need—including plenty of storage space for your things—so you can feel at home during your stay. The apartment gets great light; there are Sonos speakers throughout; and there is a porch that overlooks a backyard.

The kitchen was recently updated and has a new stove with a convection oven and air fry technology; dishwasher; microwave; stainless steel, cast iron, and nonstick pots and pans; baking essentials; cookbooks; and a walk-in pantry. There is even a charcoal grill and chimney starter you can use if you enjoy grilling.

The living room is cozy with lots of seating and has a projector with Apple TV and Sonos surround sound for you to escape into your favorite movies or shows at the end of the day.

Two of the three bedrooms are set up as bedrooms. One has a queen-sized bed, large dresser with eight drawers and two closets, all of which are empty and ready for you to store your things. The other has a full-size bed and five-drawer dresser and one closet also with space to store things. The third bedroom is setup as an office/creative space with a large table and a printer that you are welcome to use.

There is a washer and dryer in the basement and drying racks in the apartment if you prefer to air dry your clothes.

The apartment is on the first floor. To enter the house, you must walk up six steps. There are hardwood and tiled floors throughout the apartment. Doorways in the apartment are standard widths. The doorway to the basement is a bit narrow. There is no elevator in the building.

There immediate neighborhood surrounding the house is quiet and laid back. You'll see people out walking their dogs or sometimes see backyard BBQs in the warmer months. There are two parks and a brand new beautiful library branch (Adams Street) all within a short walk. There are restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. Target is nearby and there is a Stop n' Shop grocery store within a 15-minute walk. There are l small corner stores, Asian grocery stores, and a shop called American Provisions that stocks locally-sourced products nearby.

About This Lister

I am a deeply curious human. I enjoy reading, art, dance, cycling, adventure, community, travel, and meeting new people. I am a freelance UX researcher and a photographer.

I have owned the property for more than nine years and live on the first floor. I think of the entire building as a home and have put a lot of time and energy into taking care of and improving the house. I know the neighbors in all of the surrounding houses — they are all lovely humans who offer a quick hello or are up for chat just about any time.

I am flexible on duration and start and end dates. One month minimum. Open to even longer stays (i.e., more than six months). Preference given to longer stays.

If you are interested, send me an email telling me a little bit about yourself, the dates you are looking to stay, and why you're interested in my place. If it seems like it might be a good fit for both of us, we can have a chat and go from there.

To move in, first month's rent, a $1,500 security deposit, and a $150 cleaning fee are required.

No smoking is allowed inside the apartment, anywhere inside the building, or near the building entrances.
