We are looking for an engaging, enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Retail Store Manager to join our small but mighty team. The right candidate will have an enthusiasm for product and be proactive about store maintenance as well as have an eagerness to help grow our business through community engagement.
As Sales Associate, your responsibilities will include:
• Open and close the store.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including merchandising new arrivals.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and energetic manner
• Provide product knowledge and advice to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Assist in restocking merchandise and maintaining inventory levels.
• Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets through effective communication and sales techniques. Provide daily feedback and sales re-caps.
• Pack + Ship online orders when needed
• Utilize content creation and social media to engage with customers, promote new products and draw customers to the store.
• Remaining flexible and helping out in other areas of the business during downtime
Requirements:
• Strong fashion and styling sense, bonus if you have a passion for sustainability
• Prior retail, sales, or other relevant experience preferred. References required.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter, highly organized + enthusiastic
• Be a brand ambassador by keeping up with new arrivals, product knowledge, and wearing current merchandise
• Appreciation and celebration of diversity both in the workplace and the customers we welcome into our space
• Availability 4-5 days per week, including weekends. Must be willing to occasionally stay late for events.
• Ability to stand for extended hours.
• Support cleanliness and maintenance of physical store to create a safe and comfortable shopping experience
• Passionate about working for a small, scrappy company. Must be a team player!
• Willingness to do other tasks (like content creation) during down time in the store
Note: this is not seasonal employment. This person will on-board during the holiday season and stay with us throughout the year.
