We are a very clean and respectful retired couple in our 50's looking to move to the city- (from the Village up to about a 80th Ave on the upper west side) for about 6 months to a year while we're building a home in North Carolina. We love the city and our daughter is attending school in Manhattan so we would like to support her and spend some time with her. We also have other family members who live live in Manhattan and we look forward to spending time with them as well! We are very flexible on our move-in and move out date, but we would prefer to move in sometime in May. We are looking for a one bedroom with a flex space (for our daughter to stay when she's in not at the school) or a two bedroom apartment. Ideally, we would like lots of windows and an outdoor space as I am an avid gardener and am hoping to bring several of my plants with me. My husband is a retired federal agent and I am a retired massage therapist & wellness teacher. We also have two older cats that we plan to bring with us so need it to be cat friendly. We are both very clean and organized and look forward to this side adventure in our life! * As a side note to building owners, I have done property management in the past and am very good at it and would be happy to help out around the building for the right person, place and/or price. Thanks for reading- hope to hear from you!
We are a retired couple. My husband is a retired federal agent of over 30 years and I am a retired massage therapist /wellness teacher and facilitator. We love the great outdoors but also enjoy city life and all it has to offer! My husband's originally from New York and I spent time there working in the theater back in my 20s. We love the city and our daughter is presently attending a conservatory so it's the perfect opportunity for us to spend some time there to reconnect with his family and spend some time with our daughter while we're building our home in the Carolinas!
