We live in a two story, street level ground floor apartment on Bushwick Ave. The apartment is one block from the Myrtle JMZ subway station and a 10 minute walk to the Morgan L train stop.
We have a massive common space featuring a 110" projector screen, a record player and stand up piano. Our kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary cooking tools and plenty of appliances (new Nespresso machine!).
The available room is in the basement and has a window space that goes to the street and gets decent sun light. There is a full bathroom downstairs with a shower, toilet, and sink.
The room is furnished with a queen sized bed, small couch and bedside table. It has full (and pretty large) closet that is located outside the room in the downstairs common space.
The three roommates who live at the apartment are male (he/him) and one works an office job and the other two work in the film industry as freelancers. We aren't big partiers but we do like to watch movies in the main room and listen to music during normal day hours. We are also value cleanliness and like to keep the apartment tidy. We have been doing 'sunday clean sessions' for years now where we give the apartment a full reset and wipe down to start the week right.
We have 2 ginger cats (brothers) who are very sweet and cuddly and pretty much just lounge around all day and look cute.
_______
Ideally we would love a roommate who is respectful of the space when it comes to cleanliness. 420 friendly, LGBTQ+ friendly.
Write a small bio telling me a little bit about yourself when reaching out plz!
We would rather someone who Isn't exclusively working from home. Working in personal space is fine but we prefer the living room for hanging out.
No Couples plz, Guys only plz, No pets plz
Hey, my name is Brad M Bailey (he/him) and I do production design for commercials, tv and film. Ive been in Brooklyn for 14 years and Ive been living in this space for 12+ years. I travel a decent amount so will leave the city for a week to a month at times. I consider myself a clean and respectful roommate.
I love movies, music, concerts, cooking, collecting, art and all the stereotypical things we like in Brooklyn.
I have a really good relationship with my landlord (if something needs fixing, he usually will send someone the next day).
I am the lease holder and i have been living in this space for 12 years (and love it)!!
We would initially love to meet you over facetime and show you around our space.
Asking for one months rent and one month security deposit upfront (which would be returned or used as your last months rent, up to you)
