Renting a room in a 2BR located in Greenpoint/Williamsburg. Located 8 mins from the Graham L and 10 mins from the Nassau G train.

Move-in is available January 1st but there is flexibility for a later move-in all the way to February 1st. Lease runs until the end of August 2025. I will be moving out to find a one bedroom for myself, so you are more than welcome to take over the lease. The management company has been genuinely fantastic, a rarity in NYC. They only raised the rent 125 dollars on renewal and have always responded to my repair and replacement requests (In fact, they replaced our entire fridge due to issues with it and bought a brand new one)

Apartment features a large kitchen with a ton of storage as well as space for an entire table to eat at. There is no dishwasher and no washer or dryer in building. If you love cooking, you will love this kitchen.

Living room is also quite large. I don't often use the couch and TV, preferring my desk set near the window.

The bedroom you would be living in is 12x7.5. Should be able to fit a queen bed as well as a desk near the window. The bedroom does not have a closet, there is a large closet located in the living room that I am happy to split in half and share with you.

I do have two cats, Brave Cat and Shy Guy, who I let roam the apartment. They tend to keep to themselves and you are more than welcome to interact with them as much or as little as you want. They are well-behaved and not very vocal. Due to having two cats, I can't accept anyone with a pet themselves.

I am a 33-year-old man whose lived in the neighborhood for over 7 years and in this apartment for 1.5 years. I'm an LMSW that works as a mental health therapist. I see clients zia zoom 4 days a week for 20-28 hours. I have a desk set up in the living room as well as my bedroom, so if you are in the apartment I can just take the session in my bedroom.

I also do comedy around Brooklyn, do weekly trivia with my friends in NYC Trivia League, host a sci-fi book club and generally try to keep an active and interesting life style.

So far, I've had nothing but positive experiences with roommates (And happy to provide references) and like to keep things pretty simple. Clear communication, taking care of the shared spaces and ensuring a decent level of organization/cleaning. I want this space to feel like a home to you as it has been for me. This city can be so fucking stressful, lets make our apartment an oasis from that.
