Room + bathroom for rent in a spacious, sunny Bed Stuy apartment a 7 min walk from the Bedford-Nostrand G. Very central neighborhood. Sublease required (for the full term of the lease, through November 1st 2025).
Space: Apt is around 1000sq feet - a full floor.
Large windows. My room is on the way opposite side of the apartment (I'm the only roommate).
The available room would fit a queen, but l'd suggest a full-sized bed for more space. You can also add furniture on that side of the house - again, it's a big spot with both privacy and room to play. Decent-sized closet.
There are two baths — you'd have exclusive access to the lovely main bathroom in the hallway, which *has a bathtub*!
Cats: I have two sweet, friendly cats, Punky and Banjo. I keep all their cat stuff (food, litter) on my side of the apartment, but they'll say hi.
You are: kind, reasonably tidy, easy to communicate with, ideally around my age, give or take a few years. More on me below!
I get along best with people who are easygoing and flexible but also genuinely caring and thoughtful about the people and environment around them. It would be great to have someone here who shares equity-oriented politics, all things in the world considered!

a) Proof of income
b) if you make less than 40x, you'll have to show savings or have a guarantor
c) we’ll also need a reference from your most recent landlord and I’ll also ask for a personal reference or two.
d) the landlord will also ask for a credit report that shows your score is above 700.
