Seeking a Sales Consultant based at our flagship store in Soho, Manhattan to assist our customers with the visual and technical design aspects of our custom radiators. We are a luxury cast iron radiator manufacturer based in the UK with showrooms in London and New York. Our clients are homeowners, interior designers, architects and heating engineers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about home interiors and has a proven track record of success in a sales environment.
As a Sales Consultant, you will carry out home surveys to advise on sizing, style and placement of radiators, you’ll answer phone calls and emails and meet clients in the showroom to build a trusting relationship and understand their needs. The job requires a keen eye for design, comfort with numbers, excellent written and spoken English and confidence with computers. We will provide full training on the specifics.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Provide expert knowledge and advice to customers about the features and benefits of cast iron radiators.
Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive sales techniques and exceptional customer service.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and in a timely manner.
Ensure the showroom is always presentable and organized.
Work collaboratively with the showroom team to achieve common goals.
Attend trade shows and events to promote the brand and generate new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activity, and inventory levels.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a luxury retail sales environment.
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
A passion for home interiors and a keen eye for design.
A friendly and approachable personality with a can-do attitude.
Knowledge of cast iron radiators and/or experience in the heating industry is desirable but not essential - Full training given.
Flexibility to work Saturdays.
Ability to solve problems under pressure and work with pace and accuracy.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent written English.
Confidence with computers.
Knowledge of Google Workspace desirable.
Outgoing, friendly and professional individual with an interest in sales and interiors.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Location
The position will be based at our store at 70 Thompson St, NYC, with frequent travel to clients’ homes. Working hours are 9am - 5pm, five days per week, including Saturdays.

$65k - $85k Salary, dependent on experience.
