Listing Project Community, we love you! After successfully hiring a Pet Sitter and SEO Manager from Listing Project a few months ago, Grand & Graham Pets continues to grow and we are excited to add yet another Pet Sitter to the team.
We are seeking 1 talented animal lover to join our existing care team as a part-time, 1099 Pet Sitter. This flexible role allows you to work from various locations within the city of San Francisco, with the requirement of spending at least two weeks per month (consecutively or non-consecutively) overnight in clients' homes.
As a Pet Sitter at Grand & Graham Pets, you will play a vital role in delivering the in-person, front-line experience that defines our exceptional standard of pet care.
Role Responsibilities:
- Client Care Prep: Review client intake forms in advance, and discuss any questions or concerns with the client.
- Pet Sitting Duties: Stay at the client's home for the duration of the stay, including overnights; follow the agreed-upon care schedule to walk, play, and feed our client’s pet(s) as described.
- Daily Updates: Provide daily updates to both the client and Grand & Graham Pets on the progress of care, ensuring transparency and peace of mind.
- Home Care Tasks: Tidy the client's home, including wiping down counters, laundry of used linens, removing trash, and vacuuming if needed.
Requirements:
- Dog Care Experience: Have at least 1 year of pet sitting experience. Candidates who have experience with dogs that are reactive or have behavioral issues will be prioritized.
- Client Service Background: Demonstrable experience in hospitality, client services/engagement, or a similar field.
- Passion for Animals: You’re passionate about animal care and are committed to delivering a high-quality, service-led client experience.
- Self-motivated & Organized: Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously; frequently taking initiative.
- Emotional Intelligence: You are an effective communicator and carry a deep understanding of how to address client and pet needs with sensitivity.
- Availability for Overnights: Able to stay overnight at our client’s homes for at least 14 days/2 weeks per month.
- Location Flexibility: Must be willing to work remotely and travel anywhere in the city of San Francisco (in our client’s homes!).
Age Criteria: 18 years or older
Note: occasional, in-person meetings may be required for training.

After reviewing video submissions, we will invite selected candidates to a single video call with the Owner, followed by an in-person meeting.
Pay Rate: starting at $75 per day + tips. Rates will increase for multiple pets and holidays. This is a 1099 role.
All candidates will be subject to a background check.
