we are looking for a permanent part time experienced production screen printer to work one-two days a week you should know how to burn and reclaim screens, have experience with both waterbase and plastisol inks, and be a self-starter--our studio is in the middle of a busy sewing factory and though we are often there, sometimes you will be the only one in the space during your shift.
we mostly print one color, sometimes two, but no tricky registration ever. our fabric soaks up a lot of heat so checking to make sure ink is cured at regular intervals is an absolute must.
looking for someone who can work 8-16 hours most weeks, though during busy times, there may be more if you have availability.
we are an accessories company that uses mostly heavy weight canvas, sometimes leather and a variety of up cycled fabrics. sometimes we design things that are a bit out of the box, so a sense of humor and a willingness to experiment are really important.
if you are detail oriented, neat( we share our space with a sewing factory and a little blob of misplaced ink could ruin a lot of clothing) and are looking for a printing gig that isn't tee shirt after tee shirt send your resume and a note detailing your experience. we have provided a wide hourly wage range--where you fall on the scale will depend on your speed and experience.
most of our employees have worked with us for years, but covid forced us to outsource our printing--we're now getting too busy for that and are bringing things back in house, thus our need for someone new.
