Position Overview:
Join FLEURENZ this Holiday as a Seasonal Retail Associate and become an integral part of our team at the longest-running and largest holiday market in New York City. Our Retail Associates are passionate about creating unforgettable shopping experiences, showcasing our unique jewelry collections, and spreading holiday cheer.
***Note: This is a seasonal position with an expected duration of 5 weeks starting from November 14th to December 24th 2024. MUST be able to work at least ONE weekday shift and ONE weekend shift. ***
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet shoppers warmly and create a welcoming environment that reflects the spirit of FLEURENZ.
- Provide personalized assistance to help customers find the perfect jewelry piece.
- Assist customers with purchases, handle cash and credit card transactions using our POS system, and meet daily sales targets.
- Stay knowledgeable about FLEURENZ’s gold-filled, hypoallergenic, and tarnish-free jewelry collections to effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
- Restock jewelry displays, monitor inventory levels, and ensure that our booth always looks organized and inviting.
- Assist in setting up the holiday market booth, maintain its festive appearance throughout the day, and ensure it aligns with the high standards of the FLEURENZ brand.
- Share the excitement of the season by creating a positive, memorable shopping experience for every customer.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You have previous FASHION retail/sales experience and feel comfortable engaging with customers in a busy holiday market setting.
- You bring a cheerful energy and enjoy building connections with people.
- Be able to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced holiday market environment.
- You MUST be able to commit to a set schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays during the holiday season.
- You’re detail-oriented, can manage inventory efficiently, and keep the booth looking polished.
- Must have basic experience with cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system (training will be provided).
- Whether you love accessorizing or simply appreciate the art of jewelry, we want you to share that enthusiasm with our customers.
Position Details:
- Part-time positions available, with a minimum of 2 days per week, including at least one weekend day.
