Great Barrington cohouse is looking for community-minded and compatible housemate to share a large home close to town in Great Barrington, Massachusetts (in the Berkshires). The ideal housemate is interested in community living and committed to ongoing open communication, and is able to attend a monthly house meeting and share chore responsibilities (including upkeep of a pellet stove throughout the winter). There are also opportunities for shared meals, gardening, coworking, etc.

We are unable to accommodate pets (sorry! there is already one dog who lives here).

Note: This person must be able to accommodate housemates who work from home.

One room is available starting Dec 1 for $840. (rent is likely to drop in Jan or Feb as we add an additional housemate)

Additionally, tenants share the cost of utilities (heat/pellet stove, electric, gas, trash, water, internet, snow plow).
