Dear Listers,
I recently moved from New York City to Los Angeles to teach at Hofstra University’s LA program this semester. While I was thrilled to begin this new chapter, my housing situation fell through due to the wildfires, leaving me in urgent need of a place to stay.
A little about me: I’m a quiet, professional screenwriter and filmmaker with a deep commitment to teaching and storytelling. I’ve been an educator for over a decade, mentoring students and fostering creativity in the classroom. I’m clean, considerate, and take pride in being a reliable tenant and a good neighbor.
I also have a tiny, well-behaved 6-pound Yorkipoo named Naomi Campbell. She’s hypoallergenic, trained, and a joy to be around—a perfect companion who will melt your heart.
I’m looking for a room or small living space where I can settle and focus on my work. Your kindness and support during this challenging time would mean everything to me.
Thank you so much for considering me. If you’d like to connect or have any leads, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Warm regards,
Jeremy
Hi there,
My name is Jeremy (he/him), and I’m a screenwriter, filmmaker, and educator who recently relocated from New York City to Los Angeles. This move is a big step in my journey as I start teaching at Hofstra University’s LA program, where I get to share my passion for storytelling and inspire young writers.
I’ve dedicated much of my life to creating stories that connect people and reflect the resilience of the human spirit. Whether I’m writing scripts, taking photographs, or teaching, I pour my heart into everything I do. I’m also a dog dad to Naomi Campbell, my tiny 6-pound Yorkipoo. She’s hypoallergenic, house-trained, and a bundle of love—a quiet and sweet companion who makes every space feel like home.
I’m a quiet and organized person who values having a calm, creative, and respectful environment. I enjoy cooking, playing guitar, and exploring new neighborhoods in my downtime. I believe in being a thoughtful housemate and take pride in keeping shared spaces clean and harmonious.
I’m seeking housing because my original plans fell through due to the recent wildfires. Finding a welcoming space where I can focus on my work and teaching would mean so much to me, especially during this challenging transition.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about me. If you think I’d be a good fit for your space or know someone who might, I’d love to connect.
Warmly,
Jeremy
