Looking for two new roommates to join me in a 3-bed 1-bath apartment in beautiful StuyTown right between Gramercy & East Village (~March 16 but flexible through April 1). The two available rooms are generous in size, plus a shared living and kitchen area, and access to all of Stuytown’s wonderful facilities like massive outdoor greenspace, an outdoor fitness gym, two indoor gyms you can join, pickleball/basketball/tennis courts, an ice skating rink in the wintertime, a cafe, a co-working space available to join…seriously if you haven’t heard of it, just Google it! It’s like an oasis within nyc. Plus a Trader Joe’s, Target, Whole foods, and so many stores just a few minutes’ walk away.

The available rooms are
10 ft 4 in x 12 ft ($2077)
and
14 ft 3 in x 9 ft 2 in ($2200)

Listed rent includes all utilities including a monthly AC fee (there’s already a window unit air conditioner in each room!) Would just need to split Wifi three ways, around $20/month each.

About you:
-Looking for preferably female and 30ish+

-Someone who is very clean and respectful of shared spaces (cleaning up after yourself in the bathroom and kitchen, putting your dishes away when you’re done, etc)

-Works outside the home ideally (but flexible); doesn’t bring the party home (does most of their socializing outside of the apartment or has friends over in a respectful way)

-No smoking and unfortunately no cats, I’m allergic!

-Basically looking for someone responsible, respectful, and who knows how to live in a space with three adults!(proactively pitching in with chores & buying supplies, communicating kindly and clearly)

-Would be nice to be friendly but don’t have to be close friends; but if it happens naturally then great! Hoping to create a warm, homey space to recover from the craziness of the city

I am pretty chill and don’t "bring the party home,” but like to have a friend or two over occasionally. Some of my favorite memories with roommates and friends have been couch hangouts and catch-ups or impromptu kitchen chats while whipping up a late night snack

-I love coffee, music, working out, walking and exploring a new neighborhood or park, movies, arts, spending time with friends. I’m not a huge drinker/partier but enjoy an occasional glass of wine with friends. Non-smoker.

-I would love to be friendly with my roommates but also am/can be very independent, depending on what the vibe is. Mostly just want to live in a cohesive, clean, respectful home with as little drama as possible so everyone is comfortable! Looking forward to creating a cozy space :)
