Living room is comfortable, inviting and gets saturated afternoon light, it features our repurposed antique piano-as-entertainment-console with flatscreen TV, plus a vinyl collection and stereo.

Two private bedrooms with shared en suite bathroom. There’s a 2nd bathroom off the kitchen, each with claw foot tubs and showers.

Front Bedroom: Deluxe comfy Queen size bed, southern and eastern facing windows look out on picturesque views of sky and greenery. (Good blinds make it easy to sleep in). Writing desk and closet with rack and shelves for clothes.

2nd BDR: California King bed, the window looks eastward on hillside, very peaceful room. Closet and bureau space.

Clean, sunny, recently renovated ultra-vintage kitchen, with plenty of counter space, new appliances, dishwasher, washer & dryer, cooking ware, vintage china and day to day dinner ware, cutlery.

Adjoining dining room with a country style (expandable, seats 8) dining table and large windows looking out on canyon views of trees, flowers, sky and mountains.

Outdoors:
 Huge, spacious Mediterranean and native-planted backyard, back deck, and a big open patio with umbrella-covered cafe table & chairs, great for outdoor meals, with vintage wee barbecue.

A second terraced square awaits under a beautiful old tree, with bistro cafe table and an umbrella; more secret garden spots dot the property.

And to top it off we have a classic front porch overlooking the big front garden, a wonderful place to sit in the rocking chair and contemplate, with coffee or wine, sunrise and sundown. Half a block to the trailhead for Elysian Park- a big wild park, great for hikes. (Two ridges over from Dodger Stadium)

We are a couple in the arts (painting, literature, performance). We already lived through mid-century modern & are glad it is over. We are late-century romantics, blithely maladjusted to the 21st century, and our home reflects that.

...Our aesthetic is colorful, undesigned, and bohemian. This is a wonderful sanctuary, whether you are here to work or to vacation. Everyone who stays here calls it an oasis. We are well traveled - all fifty states, and many parts of Canada, Europe and Latin America. We welcome people from all corners of the planet into our home!
