Come share my 280 sq. ft. light-filled studio!

Primarily looking for another painter, but any creative as long as they are quiet and the work is dust-free. The studio is part of J&M Studios, located in the same building as the NARS Foundation. It's a good artist community and we take part in the Sunset Park Open Studios held in June and October.

It's an 8 minute walk from the R train at 45th. Bush Terminal Park is a few blocks away and a great place to walk along the water's edge when you need a break.

This 2nd floor space is a total 280 sq ft and has two windows. You would have the back half of the space, 140 sq ft and a window. The floor has a kitchen with a fridge & microwave, bathrooms and a slop sink. In addition, there is a freight elevator.

Available for mid-December (with pro-rated rent) or a January 1 move-in.

I'm a queer painter working in water-soluble oils. You can check out my somewhat neglected website below. I work full time for an NGO located next to the UN and so am primarily in the studio on weekend mornings. We can easily work in the space at the same time, and, you would essentially have the space to yourself during the week. Seeking chill, considerate, LGBTQ+ friendly folks.
