The best way to get a job in Los Angeles is to remodel my place in New York. I had just gotten all new furniture and television when things picked up in Hollywood.

It's a quiet sunny one bedroom. Two flights up on Amsterdam and 81st street.

Theres a living room with windows on one wall that's split by a double door into a TV room and an office with a refurbished wood stand up desk. Couch and most of the furniture is West Elm or pottery barn.

The bedroom has a window out into a courtyard. I have air conditioning that fills the whole place.

The kitchen is fully stocked with All-Clad cookware.

I usually send out laundry to a laundrymat a couple blocks away.

It's a short walk to all the best food spots in NY. Zabars, Fairway etc. and dozens of great restaurants and coffee houses.

And it's just a couple blocks to Central Park. I don't know how anyone lives in the city without easy access to the park.
