Hello! Our place is in desirable Silver Lake, nestled above street level with a terraced yard. It is currently completely furnished.

The primary bedroom has a new king-size beauty rest mattress, 2 closets, a dresser, plus an alcove that comfortably fits a desk. There is also a Peloton bike in the alcove, and BYO clip-in shoes :)

The garden bedroom has a twin bed, a desk, a storage chest, and sliding glass doors leading to the garden.

There is one full bathroom with plenty of storage, a large kitchen for prep, a spacious living room, and a kitchen bar with two bar stools (there's room for a small dining table). Bonus—an upright piano, if you are inclined!

There is an ample and private front yard lined with trees and a solid fence, and the backyard boasts of plants, flowers, and fruit-bearing trees. On the upper deck relax in the hammock, or in the lower yard, you can enjoy the BBQ grill.

There is a driveway that comfortably fits 2 cars (and if you're feeling ambitious, you might fit a small 3rd). There are steps to the front gate, or you can access the front of the house by walking up the driveway to a side gate. The house itself is one story.

This location is perfect for walkers: it's within walking distance of the Silver Lake meadow and reservoir, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Gelsons, Edendale Grill, Blairs, Broome Street General Store, Modern Eats, YOLO Foot Massage, and so so much more. Public transit (bus) is available at the corner, and by car, we are just off the 5 freeway.

No smoking is allowed inside at all.

We'd ideally love an individual, but a couple is ok. We are seeking a responsible, mature, and reliable subletter (or couple) to live in our space and treat it as we have. It's very special to us.

*We hope you love limes...the lime tree produces limes all year round!

We are a queer couple who splits their time between Southern California and Northern California. We both work remotely in the entertainment industry, and we do have a dog (so note that we keep our home very tidy, but if you are severely allergic to dogs, consider that a dog typically lives here part-time). We are friends with the neighbors around us, and we cherish this property. It is magical here and if you sublet our place you will agree.
