Hi! I’m looking to sublet my apartment for the next few months. Located in South Harlem, I’ve been lucky to call this place home for the last 8 years. Looking for someone who will respect and care for the space as their own in my absence. The space can be available from May 1st until Sept 20th. There is some flexibility with dates. Rent will be prorated in those cases. Those that can stay for the full duration will be prioritized.

About You

- You are a responsible and trustworthy person who pays bills on time.
- You like to maintain and keep a CLEAN space. (This is super important to me. Open to splitting the cost of a regular cleaning service too.)
- No smoking
- You prefer not to wear outdoor shoes in the house.
- You are generally comfortable when it comes to city living.

The Apartment

- South facing, a lot of sunlight
- Street facing
- Most neighbors are friendly and pretty quiet
- Elevator + Small laundry room in basement
- Kitchen will have most essentials (Not many extra appliances, so bring your air fryer!)
- Bedroom can come unfurnished or partially furnished. There is currently a full bed and a desk + chair.
- Common areas will be furnished.
- Not sure of sq footage, but good amount of space.
- AC/Heat unit in each room
- No pets (Sorry!)

Location

- Short walk to 116th stop for B/C or 2/3 and 125th stations for A/D
- Bus options M2, M4, M10, M116 and many others
- Not too far from Metro North station for upstate getaways
- Very lively in the summer, you will see a block party or 2 (...or 3), only happens on weekends though and rarely on the exact block.
- Not far from Columbia University, Central Park, Morningside Park, coffee shops, restaurants, bars all close by.
- Numerous grocery store options (including Lincoln Market on 122nd and Whole Foods and Trader Joe's on 125th)

About This Lister

I currently work remotely in project mgmt. I will be taking care of family while I’m away. I will also be traveling a bit but I will still be in the tri-state area when not. Therefore if you have any issues, I’m available to help coordinate with the super and repair workers. This apartment and community is home to me so it is really important that I leave it in great care.
