There are two spaces available in our wonderful studio in Greenpoint. We are looking for creative people to add to the great things that already happen in here. The studio is currently shared by a set designer (myself), two visual artists/ sculptors, a photographer/cinematographer, another set designer, a lamp fabricator, and a printmaker/designer.

The studio is located 1.5 blocks from the Greenpoint Ave G train and has 24 hr ground floor access with a roll gate for easy load in/ load out. Near all the shopping, dining, production houses, and supply resources that this neighborhood has to offer. It is also 3 Blocks from the Greenpoint East River Ferry pier.

2 huge skylights flood the industrial former foundry with natural light. A shared bathroom, refrigerator, and wifi come with the space. Ground floor roll gate and enough sidewalk to back a truck up to make loading in and out of the space a breeze.

The available spaces are flexible depending on usage. Could be used for desk space, storage, work space, or a mix of all. Open to helping to tailor the space to the needs of the next occupant.

The available spaces have a 9'x4' footprint. High ceilings allow for great storage opportunities within the space. Previous tenants have included event designers, fiber artists, visual artists, light fabricators, and photographers. Flexible communal space directly behind you for when your project outgrows your workspace footprint. As long as it returns to its home each night.

Rent is $460/Month for the space. The rent increases annually, but minimally, to adjust for yearly lease increases and property tax increases (if applicable that year.) The next increase is July. 3 month commitment with month to month agreement following that.

The space has a dedicated outlet and a 12' cinderblock wall that is a blank canvas in terms of how you use the space. Others have installed shelves, desks, loft storage, or a mix of all of it.

The space needs to be seen to be understood. One space is available for January 1st or Pro-rated December move in. The second space becomes available February 1st.

I am a set/ production designer and prop stylist. I have run a business out of here for many years and have always enjoyed creating here and spending time in this space. It is great to share the space with people who are also making and doing cool things. Looking forward to sharing the space with another like minded person.
