I'm subletting my spacious 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment on the border of Crown Heights and Prospect Heights while I'm out of town during the winter, available from mid-February through the end of March! Dates flexible — preference to someone who can sublet for the whole duration, but definitely possible to sublet for just March. Please reach out with your specific situation!
The apartment is located 5 minutes from the Brooklyn museum and Franklin-Medgar Evers subway stops, so you can catch the express or local 2/3/4/5. Right above the B48! It is a 10 minute walk to the Grand Army Plaza entrance of Prospect Park and the Central Library, as well as plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. Laundromat is a 3 minute walk, and the nearest Citibike dock is on the block.
The apartment is a second floor walk-up in a small building with west-facing windows in the living area (street side) and east-facing windows in the bedroom (interior, extra quiet). It is a railroad style apartment that is technically a two-bedroom, but I use it as a one-bedroom, so there is plenty of space! I currently have it set up so that the street-facing bedroom is the living room, and it opens onto the long room which has a dedicated working set-up (standing desk, adding an external monitor this week), dining table, and kitchen. The bedroom fits a queen bed comfortably and has an extra large closet that takes up a full wall. There is also a bike stand and plenty of storage.
Heat/hot water included, other utilities (gas, electricity, fast wifi) cost ~$90/mo; happy to provide more info.

I've lived in the neighborhood for four years, in this apartment for two years, and love the area! I'll be out of town to ski and work remotely, so am hoping to find a subletter who will enjoy the apartment and neighborhood while I'm gone.
