I'm subletting my spacious and bright apartment in this gem of a neighborhood from Feb 1 through April 30 (only +/- 2-3 days flex on dates) while I'm away traveling. Rent includes utilities, wifi, basic household supplies, plus linens and towels.
ABOUT THE ROOM & THE BUILDING:
The huge fully-furnished bedroom is bright & sunny, with high ceilings, hardwood floor, two large windows, a full bed with a comfy memory foam mattress, ceiling fan, and double closet.
The living room area is cozy and comfortable, and includes a desk and monitor if you'd like to work from home. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking essentials, including a microwave, toaster oven, rice cooker, slow cooker, juicer and blender.
Coin-op laundry is in the building. Located on the top floor (3rd) of a quaint 4-unit building, so no footsteps overhead!
ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
I've been at my place over 5 years and love the location so much! It's on a vibrant street in Ft Greene and perfectly located to explore or commute into the city:
- Two blocks from Fort Greene Park
- 4-8 min. walk from multiple train lines (NQR, B, 2/3, 4/5, G, F, ACE)
- A few blocks from Barclays, 25 min walk to Prospect Park
- About 15 mins on the train to Union Square or Washington Square Park
- Within easy walking distance to big box stores like Target, Whole Foods 365 & Trader Joe’s, as well local groceries and bodegas + a ton of amazing restaurants and bars on Dekalb, Fulton, Flatbush and more
I'm a writer and filmmaker in my 40s who loves to dance and travel. I’ve been a vegetarian for 20+ years. I'm warm and friendly, keep my apartment neat, and respect quiet times and privacy. I often take breaks between marketing contracts to travel and live abroad, which is what I'll be doing this winter.
Current tenant
I'm looking for a very responsible, clean, considerate and quiet person who will treat my apartment like their own home and is a great communicator. No smoking, drugs or parties.
If you're interested, please reach out to introduce yourself and let me know what you're looking for. And of course feel free to ask any questions!
We can schedule a video call for a virtual tour and to gauge compatibility, and then can do an in-person visit if possible to finalize if we decide it's a good fit.
Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you!
There's a strict NO DOGS rule, but I may be able to accommodate ONE cat.
