This apartment is a real gem. I’ve lived in New York City my whole life and never have I felt more inspired and cozy than in this apartment!
This spacious, charming 1- bedroom apartment will be a home away from home for your visit to NYC. Natural light fills the apartment from both sides on this quirky triangle shaped block in lower Manhattan. This building was built in the late 1890s and we’ve worked to preserve it’s natural charm and integrity adding details like the hand painted cherry wall paper :)
Nearly 10 foot ceilings in the bedroom with original tin in every room. It’ll have you pondering your deepest thoughts for hours. The apartment was originally set up as a two bedroom- the second bedroom is now a work space. Little chess table set up if you like to play. We eat dinner in the little nook and play while we eat. We cook a lot! Stocked kitchen with Vitamin Blender and all the pots, pans and cookware you’d be looking for, (nearly) black out curtains, extremely comfortable bed that will make you feel like a king, record player, bath tub/shower, high speed wifi, AC and Heat etc. and of course you will find the apartment thoroughly, professionally cleaned upon arrival.
Roof access, top floor, so no noisy neighbors above. Very quiet. Easy access to all the subways. Step outside and within 10 minutes walk you can be in Chinatown, Little Italy, Lower East Side, Tribeca, Financial District, or South Street Seaport.
Some classic neighborhood spots in easy walking distance:
Dr. Clark's/ The River
Nom Wah
Kiki's
Dimes
Cervos
Golden Diner
Cowgirl Seahorse

We will prioritize longer term sublets. Ideally looking for a minimum two month commitment. End date is also flexible
My partner and I have lived here for three years. We are both artists in our late 20's and spent the pandemic exclusively pitter pattering about the house perfecting our space and finding our inner Bob the Builder. We love to collect unusual antiques, and surround ourselves with the little memories that they spark they inspire.
The apartment is a great place to make work of all kinds. We're mid move working on a house upstate so we are looking for longer term subletters. Hoping to share our apartment with people who appreciate the space and share in our journey!
We're both very clean and it's important to us that anyone who lives here takes care of our home the way we do.
