I am subletting my apartment on the Lower East Side Dec-March, with potential to extend, while my partner and I are out of state for grad school. Seeking an individual, quiet, responsible person who will appreciate the calm, respect the neighbors, and care for the space with love. Plant-lovers especially welcome! Unfortunately the building does not allow pets at this time. I hope the apartment will be an oasis of calm for you!

The apartment is very clean and comfortable with a peaceful bedroom and a large office. Plenty of natural light, hardwood floors, plants and a small balcony for fresh air. It overlooks trees of a small garden, within short walking distance great restaurants (Dimes Square and LES), near East Broadway and Essex Market. The bedroom is large (room for yoga), and the office is spacious and quiet. The kitchen (original, i.e. imperfect and no dishwasher) is a decent size and well-appointed for cooking, and the living room is very relaxing and comfortable. Ideal for someone who works from home and wants to go out into the city. Great wifi, Roku TV (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Apple, HBOMax, etc), Philips Hue smart lights, and Google Mini in every room. All utilities included.

The neighborhood is a quiet, residential, family-friendly area of lower Manhattan, near Chinatown and the Lower East side. There is a large garden with tall trees within the building complex that is a lovely place to rest. It's an easy walk to the Tenement Museum, New Museum, Katz Deli, and other cultural treasures of the historic Lower East Side. It's about a ten minute walk to the nearest subway, but buses and Citibike are on the block.

There is laundry in the building, as well as a several really helpful and kind security guards. Reliable elevator access and wheelchair accessibility throughout the building.

Transportation: It's super easy to get anywhere in Manhattan, and also to Brooklyn, Queens, and LIC. Happy to help you navigate if you need.
