We're looking for a roommate to join us on a 12-month lease starting November 1. Move-in date is flexible, and could be as early as October 14 if needed.

This is a 3-bedroom/1-bathroom on the 3rd floor of a walk-up building. The room available is the largest bedroom, with lots of natural light coming in during the day and plenty of closet space.

Before we moved in last year the apartment was fully renovated, and features new appliances including washer/dryer in-unit as well as a dishwasher. The kitchen is pretty large for a New York apartment, and the shared living area is comfortable as well.

The apartment is centrally located on 31st Ave in Astoria, a short walk to the M/R station at 46 St which gets you into Manhattan in under 30 minutes. Easy access to the restaurants and bars along Broadway and 30th Ave. Our block is generally pretty quiet, and you'll see lots of families and kids as there are several schools located nearby. Key Food and CVS are both within walking distance, and street parking is very doable in our neighborhood if you own a car.

Rent is $1260 a month and includes heat and water. Utilities (electricity and cooking gas) and internet are split between the tenants (us), and usually come out to around $50 a person.

About This Lister

We're two men in our early- to mid-20s. We've lived in this apartment for the past year. Our current roommate is moving out because of a job opportunity, and we're looking for someone to take his place on our lease.

Aidan and I are both passionate about the arts, especially musical theater and film respectively. We like to keep the apartment clean and organized. Most of the time we're pretty quiet, though we do like to have friends come over on occasion. We're LGBTQ+ friendly and open-minded generally.
