This 1-bed, 1.5 bath poolside apartment sits behind our home near the Lincoln-Venice intersection, in a tree-lined upscale residential neighborhood with restaurants and cafes around the corner. With a locked private entrance, and windows on all sides, it's perfect for digital nomads - a single person or a couple. It features two generous desk spaces and two newly renovated bathrooms, along with bamboo floors (carpet in the bedroom), a dishwasher, access to the washer/dryer, free WiFi and utilities, and off-street parking for a small car.
Walk two minutes for buses to Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Culver City (and the light rail network), Westwood, LAX and downtown. Using electric bikes or scooters or your feet, you can be at the beach in no time.
About This Lister
We're an almost-retired couple.
We built this apartment for our parents, who lived here for over a decade. We try to keep our carbon footprint small by mostly cooking at home, recycling or reusing everything, growing vegetables, composting green waste, using a laundry line, and heating our pool with passive solar. We enjoy sharing this quiet retreat for mid-term stays, and maintain a policy of friendly privacy with occasional opportunities to meet over a coffee or a glass of wine.
We're landlords on Furnished Finder and members of Home Exchange and have five star reviews as hosts on both sites and as guests on HE.

Rental requirements
Please provide some personal background and the reason for your visit.
We require the signing of a short term lease, a $250 refundable securing and security deposit upon signing ($1000 for month-long leases) and a $150 cleaning fee, which is refundable if the place is left as it was found.
Rental fees are as follows: Monthly ($3,750) or weekly ($1,000) with each extra night at $150. Minimum stay one week.
Pets Policy
Well-behaved pets are welcome but must be no more than 15lbs and cannot be left alone in the apartment unless securely kenneled. We require a meet-and-greet with our own friendly 10 year old terrier mix. The $250 refundable pet fee, the security deposit, as well as the entire cleaning fee will be used to repair damage or to provide cleaning if necessary. Significant damage is the responsibility of the tenant.
