Hi! I'm looking for someone to takeover my current lease with me in a 2 bedroom apartment Bushwick/Bed Stuy beginning May 1 (12 month lease period). Apartment is less than a 5 minute walk from the Gates J train stop. The apartment has a dishwasher, shared coat closet, tons of kitchen storage and gets great natural light in both living and bedrooms. The building was built super recently and has a gym, elevator, in-building laundry, package room and a huge roof 🥰 We also have a live in super who is very responsive. Utilities include electric and wifi are usually ~50/person each month.

The room is large enough to fit a queen bed, desk, dresser, two nightstands and had a full size closet with a bar for hangers and shelf on top for extra storage. There is an additional shared coat closet in the living room for coats, etc. The common spaces are fully furnished, but open to someone bringing in new pieces or art if you have! Unfortunately, no pets.

I'm looking for someone mid to late 20s who is friendly, respectful, clean and laid back. I like to keep a comfy, relaxed vibe in the apartment and looking for someone who would appreciate the same! I like to balance alone time with socializing and would like to find someone similar. Also looking for someone with an active social/professional life, but not someone who would bring the party back home 😴

I am 27 years old and I work in nonprofit advertising. I go into the office 1-2 days a week and sometimes go to work at a coffee shop for a few hours during the day. I like to go to workout classes nearby, try new restaurants go see movies with friends. I like to cook and happy to have a roommate that also cooks a lot, though am looking for someone who will help to keep the kitchen clean. On weekends, I usually go out one night and stay in one night on average, and run errands or see friends during the day. I usually wake up on weekdays anywhere between 6 and 7 am and sleep in later on weekends. Looking for someone to split cleaning kitchen and bathroom and split up paying for shared items like paper towels, dish soap, toilet paper etc. I'm happy to be quieter and keep to myself or get to know my new roommate, just depends on the vibe and the person!
