With windows in every room, including bathroom and kitchen, this apartment is naturally lit all day. The front rooms overlook lush trees and picturesque historic homes. The back faces more trees and a historic church. The apartment has been my green oasis for several years and I love offering it to others while I’m away.
I currently have the second room set up as a creative studio with a large desk, couch, and a glass dry erase board for creative brainstorming. You can use it similarly, or pull out the queen-size air mattress and use the room as a second bedroom.
The main bedroom has a very comfy Helix queen-size hybrid mattress (part memory foam, part springs) to accommodate my increasingly achy joints.
The apartment was recently renovated so everything works. Full kitchen with new appliances (stove, microwave, refrigerator). Also dishwasher, air fryer, rice cooker, etc. Large living room with dining nook, recessed lighting, and dimmer. Fast wifi throughout. Elevator building. Third floor.
Beautiful 10 min walk to B/Q trains at Newkirk Plaza where there is a delicious bakery for fresh breads and bites and other smaller shops. B/Q are express trains that take you to manhattan in 15-20 mins. The 2/5 trains are also a 10 minute walk in the other direction and move you through the heart of Caribbean culture.
Lots of busses within 2 blocks to take you around Brooklyn. B41 will take you to prospect park in 10 mins and to downtown Brooklyn in another 10 minutes. B103 takes you to all the restaurants on Cortelyou Rd and Park Slope in 10-20 minutes. B49 takes you to Bed-Stuy. etc. Also have a bike with a basket that you’re welcome to use! Lots of street parking.
No pets. I have too many allergies :)

tenant
Would ideally like to sublet to one person/party for the entire time but I’m flexible. Also flexible with start and end dates, so don’t hesitate to reach out and we can see if we can make it work. I will send you a sub-tenant agreement and ask for half of the rent upon signing. The remainder will be due before your first day in the apartment.
Open to all; especially interested in supporting the dreams/needs of Black/POC/Queer/Immigrant/Creative folx.
Happy to do a video call or in-person viewing so you can get an even better feel of the apartment.
