We have one room opening up in our 3-bed apartment in South Slope. Dimensions are approximately 12’ x 12’, and shares a bathroom with one other person. The room faces southeast and has a very large window, so it gets plenty of sunlight throughout the year. The room will be unfurnished.

About the apartment:

- Rent is $1950.00 per month plus utilities (usually around $100 per person but varies). A one-month deposit is also required
We’re looking for someone to sign onto the lease with us starting March 1st (more on start date below).
- Common area includes a well-stocked kitchen with dishwasher, as well as a sofa and other furnishings. We’re currently working on filling out the space with more comforts of home but likely don’t have space for more furniture.
- Washer/dryer in unit.
- Building amenities include a gym, bike storage room, lounge area, part-time doorman, additional laundry in the basement, and a furnished rooftop with excellent views of the city.
- 5-minute walk to the R and 13-minute walk to the F/G.

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who is mature, calm, clean, tidy, and respectful, and who doesn’t bring the party home. Cleanliness is important to us and we’re the “clean as we go” type, which means dishes are not left in the sink and things are put away when they’re not being used.

With that said, we are pretty easy going. We’re usually busy with work and social lives, but we’re also open to sharing the occasional meal or grabbing drinks together if schedules align. We both work in tech and one of us works from home 3-4 days per week. If you do WFH, we ask that it’s from your own room. The overall vibe of the space is calm and quiet, and serves as a place to recharge.

About start date:

Our roommate who is moving out may want to stay through March 8th. If you’re flexible, we can prorate the month of March depending on when you move in. However, we would still need you to sign on to the lease starting March 1st.
