This former three-car garage has been lovingly renovated into a spacious, furnished studio apartment, perfect for a weekend, week, or month to enjoy and explore the Hudson Valley!
Where we are:
The home is conveniently nestled on our village street with a view of our wooded forest hillside. We're a 7 min walk to the Main Street in Catskill Village and an 11 min drive from Hudson and Hudson’s Amtrak station.
About the unit:
The unit is equipped with deep soaking tub, working fireplace, full kitchen, back deck, amazing natural light, and so many more details for the design inclined.
It is an open, airy-space with one queen “bedroom” with a large open curtained doorway to the main sitting area - and a large slatted partition window made of solid elm wood that can be opened or closed to the rest of the space. It is best for one or two people to use, but a third friend could sleep on the deep sofa just outside the bedroom.
Sliding glass doors open to your private deck that looks onto the backyard and wooded hillside - feel free to adventure down the hill to the gulley if you don’t mind the untamed woods:)
About our street:
You have neighbors across the street and us to one side, so you may hear the sounds of a neighborhood - dogs barking, voices or kids playing outside, especially during the warmer months, only the occasional car as you’ll be located toward the end of a dead end street, a train about a half a block away - but the space truly feels like a private bubble when inside. The windows on the front side are positioned higher up for more privacy, and the wall of windows on the backside just look out onto the hill - where you can occasionally spot a deer or three!

We're Ry and Georgina, a queer couple who moved to Catskill Village from Brooklyn just over 2 years ago.
We live in the house next door and are so excited to have completed this renovation and share our neighborhood and town with you! We will usually be home, but we keep to ourselves unless you need or want any help, recommendations, tips etc!
Ry is a woodworker and furniture designer who works from her woodshop located on our property. Ry is also responsible for the amazing apartment design and work - other than the electric and plumbing, Ry built nearly everything you'll experience by hand.
Georgina works for the local government in town and is typically out of the house during the work day.
We have three dogs, Bella, Reddy, and Lindy, who you may see running around in our yard, but a fence separates the yards, and there is a privacy screen at the end of the apartment porch as well.
Home Owners
For rentals, we'll request a non-refundable deposit of 50% at booking and the other 50% at arrival for the stay. This can be done over venmo or zelle.
If you are staying for a month or longer, payment can be monthly, and we will work with you to figure out a security deposit that makes sense for your stay.
We have three dogs that will be next door and we welcome pets!
