Kissing Williamsburg, BK is the quaint neighbourhood of Greenpoint; rich in Polish culture and tucked in a scenic corner, surrounded by the East River. This rare yet quintessential, sun-welcoming 1300sqft Brooklyn loft, a 1902 former textile factory, comes tastefully furnished, with poetry etched into its original wooden flooring and rooftop access with shake-your-head panoramic views.

The Crowd.
Being north of Williamsburg, and home to the infamous G train, Greenpoint attracts young, professional New Yorkers in the know, particularly on weekends. Its inhabitants include Polish migrants and their descendants as well as young professionals starting a family. Giving the hood its familiar feel.

Meet the Neighbours.
Small, intimate building of great neighbours comprised of a Tenancy Association of hardworking and respectful artists and creatives. Our building is situated in the middle of the block, sandwiched between tree-lined residential townhouses, and the remaining industrial workshops. Dubbed the Gramercy Park of Brooklyn, our local park is the ever manicured back garden for locals.

Home Truths.
Approaching the building for the first time can promote head scratching or doubt that a gem lies within. It's old, creaky feel is charming, but not so much when the only place to blow dry your hair without blowing the fuse, is by the dining table. Heavy rainstorms may on occasion activate one or two "water features", otherwise known as a leak or drip, which can be caught in a cup or a bowl until it is repaired by the cowboys who have been repairing it the last 13 years. Such is loft living.

We're a hard working, self-employed professional couple who have lived in and enjoyed our loft as our home for over twelve years. It’s our sanctuary, and we love hosting guests who get to enjoy it as much as we do. Our building is small and filled with friendly, neighborly and supportive creatives and professionals who have formed a co-op founded in 2012. Work and personal travel presents an opportunity for a mature, responsible person to enjoy this loft too. No smoking inside.
