Located smack-bang in the middle of Tompkins Street, Bed-Stuy; our top floor apartment features a renovated, fully-stocked kitchen that opens out to an east facing dining room shrouded in incredible morning light. Dining area features a tasty hi-fi setup with vintage Altec Lansing speakers, shag rug and large wooden table, making it the perfect place to chill out and/or work from home.

Walk down the hardwood hallway to a separate west facing living room that conversely gets all the afternoon light. A large TV and huge, comfy couch (the Teddy Sofa) that transforms into a conversation pit make the living space amazing for movie nights.

To keep sleepy-time zen, we have a minimally furnished bedroom with a queen-sized bed positioned beneath a large skylight.

A huge walk-in wardrobe, plus bathroom with shower/bath combo makes up the rest of the apartment.

The building is just us and one other tenant, we share a modern washer and dryer thats free to use on the ground floor, as well as an amazing backyard which is all yours to work or hang throughout the day, and in the evenings & weekend is shared with Dear Friends Books, a cool-as-fuck bookstore/bar located below. Grab a wine and hang out down there and you’re guaranteed to meet some awesome people. The backyard has regular poetry readings, a weekly outdoor cinema, as well as a myriad of interesting events happening over the spring-summer period.

There’s cafes and bars all around us - Next door is Sincerely Tommy (cafe-clothing store hybrid), across the street is Kyo (Japanese Cafe + Katsu spot), and 5 mins down the road is Herbert Von King Park, which over May/June is filled with people out picnicking on the lawn each evening.

Close to G + A/C trains, and a ton of buses that’ll get you all over Brooklyn.

Australian Art Director & Sound Designer who have lived in Brooklyn for over a decade, and in this apartment for the past year. We've just had a baby so are headed off to Japan and back to Aus for a couple of months, and are looking for someone trustworthy and tidy to enjoy our home over it's best time of year while we're away!
