Beautiful loft studio, decorated with love. The apartment has high ceilings, exposed beams, and six-foot tall windows that fill the apartment with morning sunlight. It's got a cozy cabin vibe with a few cabin quirks and guarantees a sweet and special place to hibernate for a week!
There is roof access to a shared communal space, though our garden is currently sleeping.
The apartment is 4 blocks from Louis Valentino Park, and 2 blocks from Ikea and Erie Basin Park. It is just off of Van Brunt Street, and around the corner from Food Bizarre (grocery store), Hometown Barbeque, Good Fork, Sunny's Bar, Pioneer Works, and all the wonderful dining Red Hook has to offer.
The area is quiet, with abundant parking. It is a 15-20 minute walk or a quick Citibike or bus to the Smith-9th F/G train...or you can hop on the NYC Ferry!
Being off the beaten-path is what makes Red Hook so special, and what makes this space such a beautiful hidden gem. If you know you know.
I work in the film industry, my husband is a woodworker (designed the bed in the loft!) - We will be nearby providing childcare for my niece so can help with any concerns.
My husband & I are the primary renters of this studio apartment, and have been given permission from our management company to sub-rent the space.
Flexible dates, up to one week. Priority given to longer stays, $1000 flat if you stay all week. Payment is due in full electronically and sub-lease agreement to be signed before term begins.
$500 security deposit/hold, will refund immediately if all is in order.
No parties, sadly.
Would consider dogs < 25lbs, no cats.
