Fort Greene is one of Brooklyn's most picturesque and sought after neighborhoods - this location is unbeatable with it's tree lined streets and vibrant culture. This is an unusually large, light-filled apartment one block from Fort Greene’s vibrant dining and bar scene, and two blocks from the Park. I am an interior designer and my apartment has been meticulously curated over the years to feel clean, cozy and calming. The bedroom offers a luxury tempur-pedic queen sized mattress and large desk space with extra screens for guest use. Generous, fully stocked kitchen for cooking and a mud room for coats and shoes. The apartment is conveniently located on the second floor with a neighborhood view and has laundry in the basement of the building. We are looking for a June/July/August sublet with the option to extend into September.
I am a long time Brooklynite and have lived in Fort Greene the past seven years. My husband and I spend the summer in Maine, so we will be out of the city for the duration of June/July/August. I am a hotel and restaurant designer, and have taken a lot of care into assembling our apartment over the years so it is a nice respite from the city. I will be the POC throughout the process.
This is a pre-war building with 70 units and many tenants, so subleters go un-noticed. It is a chill building where everyone minds their own business. If there is any sort of problem with the apartment (say toilet malfunction) you would contact me and I will contact management. They are very quick to fix everything, typically same day.
I am the current tenant
We are asking for a $2,000 deposit (which will absolutely be returned in full within 7 days of departure given there is no damage), and 1 months rent, with the second month paid on or before July 1 and the third months rent paid on or before August 1.
