This is a furnished, quintessential 2-bed railroad in Ridgewood. The light is amazing and it's what drew me to the space in the first place.
The sublet is set for January 15 to May 15, but dates are flexible and I'm open to shorter or longer periods (no less than one month). In theory, I would like to find someone for a few months.
*The Space:*
- It's around 700 sq ft, and I've made several updates to the apartment.
- Big windows on either end with a TON of natural light.
- Hardwood floors.
- Fire escape!
- Peloton included!
- 3rd floor walkup, vacant apartment across the hall, small building.
- Laundry one block away.
- Fantastic neighbors.
- Roof access.
The apartment has two portable A/C units. The kitchen table expands and there are four chairs. I didn't picture it but there is also a separate, standalone kitchen pantry.
The second room will fit a bed, though I won't be providing one. I've designated it as my closet and peloton room. There is a wardrobe and hanging rack.
Please also keep the plants alive. :) If you can do so, I can take some $$ off the rent.
*The Neighborhood:*
The apartment is a 7-minute walk to the Dekalb L and 10 minutes to the Seneca M. There is a B38 stop on the corner.
My favorite part about this side of Ridgewood is that anything nightlife-related you could want is available within a short walk to Bushwick, but it's an extremely quiet corner of the neighborhood.
My building neighbors are super friendly! If you're craving outdoor time, there's a community garden a couple of blocks away, and Grover Cleveland Park is less than 10 minutes away.
This block has a bunch of 20, 30- and 40-somethings as well as young families.
There is a grocery two blocks away, at least four coffee shops within a 5-minute walk (if not more) and a deli downstairs.
I am a 34-year-old publicist, and I've lived in New York for the past eight years--save one year, I've always been in Bushwick and Ridgewood. This is my favorite apartment, bar none.
I'd love to find someone who loves this apartment like I have and would be respectful of the items I'm leaving--there's quite a bit of curated love here.
