About This Lister

Hi there! We're Jon and Alex, two Brooklynites who have been living in New York for 10 years. Jon hails from the Midwest and Alex from France. We got married in 2017 and fell in love with this apartment the moment we saw it in 2018. We moved in before they even finished construction in the hallway!

We're so grateful we were in this sunny, spacious apartment when the pandemic hit. We've both been able to happily work from home since then, in separate rooms. This apartment is full of countless happy memories; we are honestly quite sad to be leaving. We've felt lucky to call this our home for 7 years.

But adventures calls! Alex got a job offer in London and after much deliberation, we think the change will do us good. We immediately told our landlord, who tasked us with finding a tenant/couple/family to take over the remainder of our lease, April 1 - Sept. 30. We are not working with a broker, but rather trying to fill it ourselves. Come August, they will reach out to inquire about starting an official lease Oct. 1, should you want to live here longer than 6 months, but that will be up to you!

We are moving our furniture to London, so the space will come unfurnished. However, if you see some houseplants you want when you come tour the apartment, let us know. Those won't be making the voyage and will be re-homed before April.

We will be moving and vacating the apartment in mid-late March (exact date TBD), so it's yours after that. The landlord said they will re-paint before April 1. Give us a holler and come check it out if you're interested!
