THE APARTMENT
This light-filled 2nd-floor one-bedroom has original parquet hardwood floors and two big West-facing windows in both the bedroom and living room. It's well laid-out with a big bedroom and an open-format living room with a small fully-stocked kitchen and a cute breakfast-dining nook with a burl-laminate table. There's a working space in the bedroom with a minimal desk and a 27-inch monitor for remote working. Classic and sunny NYC bathroom with white subway tiles and strong shower pressure, a must-have in the city.
There are AC units as well as blinds in both rooms, and optional blackout shades in the bedroom. Tastefully decorated with a few collectors' pieces, and a very comfy queen bed with a DreamCloud hybrid mattress and a cashmere-blend cushion top-cover. There's a film projector in the living room with Apple TV and all streaming services. The place is clean and smoke-free, and honestly really special.
THE BUILDING
1903 Pre-War building with a lush courtyard and coin-operated laundry onsite.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
I'm in a great location on the Clinton Hill/Fort Greene border--steps away from great restaurants, bars, and cafés, and just a few blocks from beautiful Fort Greene Park and its best-in-the-borough Farmer's Market.
5-minute walk to the Clinton-Washington G | 12 minutes to the C (at Lafayette or Clinton-Washington) | and 15 minutes to the B, Q, and R at Dekalb. The 2, 3, 4, and 5 are also accessible with an 18-minute walk to Nevins.
I work as a photo producer, have a background in law, and have lived in New York City for about ten years. I've spent a lot of time traveling and lived lots of places in and outside the US, and love having great folks stay in my space.
Tenant
$600 security deposit to lock in the apartment. This will be returned as soon as you head out, and we can sign a sublet agreement so it's on paper.
