I am looking for someone to move into the second room of our apartment for a lease takeover starting February 1st through August 2025, with the ability to renew the lease if you'd like.

It’s a 2 bedroom 1 bath in a pre-war building on Bergen between Franklin and Bedford in Crown Heights. You’ll be right off of Franklin Ave. near lots of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops, and a short walk to Prospect Heights, Bed Stuy, and Clinton Hill. Trains: A, C, 2, 3, 4, 5, S (<8 min walk) and the G is a 15 min walk up Bedford.

The whole apartment gets lovely natural light, and the room available has two big windows that get direct sunlight with a fire escape attached to the room. The closet space is decent, and the room has plenty of space for an armoire, dresser, etc. if more storage is needed. The apartment will be mostly furnished, but the room will be unfurnished.

The building itself is well-maintained with very a responsive super/maintenance team. The building is peaceful, private, and quiet since it backs up to brownstone backyards. The tenants in this building are all quiet, kind and respectful and we've built a great community here. There's app operated laundry and bike storage located in the basement, and there is shared rooftop access for the building.

About This Lister

You'll be living with a 30 year old female who works as a food photographer and marketing director in the restaurant industry. I work a hybrid role, so mostly working from home but also going in 1-2 times a week for meetings or photoshoots. Low key and quiet during the week, and out/social on the weekends: loves natural wine, dinners in/out, bopping around town and farmers markets. Looking for someone who is organized, clean and respectful, and would prefer someone who doesn’t smoke inside the apartment.
