Unfurnished south-facing room in a 2 bed 1 bath apartment on the second floor of a four-story walk-up. Facing the building’s backyard, this room lets in the most light and is also the quietest in the apartment.

The room is around 125 square feet and fits a full/queen sized bed, desk, and dresser/bookshelf. This room also has shelving and a closet with communal coat storage in the living room. Totally open to repainting the room! (The forest green came with the apartment)

The apartment has a kitchen with ample counter/dining space and cabinets, living room with a couch, TV, and dining table, and a shared bathroom. Furnishing is still a work in progress and would love for you to participate in making it your own as well.

While there is no laundry in building, there is a laundromat located a block away.

Neighborhood:

The neighborhood is primarily made up of families, so it is relatively laid back and quiet. Our building has a strong community with a lot of friendly faces!

Located between 7th and 6th Avenue, this building is on a residential street but still has access to a lot of great restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and shopping. CVS and Steve’s (CTown) are a little over a 5min walk away, and the Park Slope Coop as well as Whole Foods are about 15min away.

Prospect Park is just a 10min walk away.

5min walk away from the 7 Av F/G stop and less than a 15min walk away from the 4th/9th R stop.

Additional Need to Knows:

As per the building owner/landlord, this apartment does not allow smoking.

About This Lister

I am a 26 year old queer Asian man with a creative/design background. Working from home has made me a bit more of a homebody but I love going out to try new restaurants and yap (happy to share recs)! I’ve also been having fun walking (and eating my way) through Park Slope and the surrounding neighborhoods, like Gowanus and Carroll Gardens. When I find the motivation, I do enjoy cooking and sharing meals. I lead a primarily sober lifestyle but will enjoy a drink every now and then.

As a roommate, I am relatively social and hope to have a relationship that would allow for friendly chats and hangouts, while also holding space for alone/solo time—I really want to create a warm and inviting environment in the apartment.

I am clean, tidy, respectful, and understanding, and I would love to find someone who is the same—as long as there is open communication surrounding needs and expectations, I think that we will get along great.

If you are interested, I would love to know more about you in your message and if things feel like a good fit, we can discuss details and a tour of the apartment!
