Hello listers, I am moving out of my lovely sun-drenched room in Bed-Stuy because I found a 1 bedroom for myself 🌸 It is a spacious room with an ensuite bathroom in a 3-bedroom apartment at the intersection of Fulton and Kingston. The room has access to a private fire escape and also to the roof, which has a lovely view of the city. The apartment is on the fourth floor of a walk-up and has a dishwasher, central heating/AC, and in-unit washer/dryer. It has a large kitchen and a cute, comfy little living room with a big TV.

The neighborhood is diverse and lively, with all kinds of restaurants, buffets, salons, bars, bodegas, parks, and grocery stores. I'll really miss this place and this area; the neighborhood rules and the neighbors and store owners have been nothing but welcoming and kind.

You would share the space with two roommates, Jen and Daia.

About Jen and Daia:
Jen is an actor and an artist who nannies. Daia is in school to be a counselor. Both are quiet and kind, who enjoy their own space but also like to hang out for dinner or a good TV show from time to time. Daia is busy with school and nanny work and is out of the house most days, but likes to rest at home on weekends. Jen is home more often, and usually keeps to herself.

About Jen and Daia's ideal roommate:
-Women/femme preferred
-Ideally someone around the same age; late 20s/early 30s
-Quiet, clean, respectful
-More than ships in the night, a healthy mix of having your space but who will sometimes be social in common space and want to hang out periodically
-Wfh is fine
-Guests welcome, but with clear communication on who will be coming into the space and when, ideally no strangers
-Gatherings are great; lots of parties all the time not so much
-No smoking inside, cigarettes or weed
-Communication and consideration are key!

This room is available starting 1 December and the lease is through 30 April, with the option to renew. Please share a little about yourself in an email.
