Enjoy a month-long stay in a beautiful and spacious apartment in the quaint seaside neighborhood of Red Hook, Brooklyn.

The apartment opens to an exceptionally large eat-in kitchen containing a wide assortment of cookware and appliances, including a dishwasher. Off the kitchen is the bathroom, which has a full-sized bathtub/shower and a window that keeps the space naturally lit and well-ventilated. Adjacent to the kitchen is a cozy living room with a large couch, Eames chair, stereo system, and sizable record collection. The living room leads to an office / library with two desks, printer/scanner, and a large assortment of books. The office and high speed wifi is ideal for those who work from home. At the end of the apartment is the bedroom, outfitted with a queen bed, couch, and antique armoire and dresser. The large windows in the bedroom and kitchen provide an abundance of natural light throughout the day. There is laundry in the basement. The apartment is on the second floor and is only accessible by stairs.

The waterfront is a block away and is an ideal spot for walks, watching the sunset, and picnics. There are many excellent restaurants (Red Hook Tavern, Hometown BBQ, Good Fork, Goog Thai, and more), breweries and bars, cafés, and places to see live music nightly (Sunny's, Jalopy, Record Shop, Pioneer Works) all a few blocks away. The apartment is conveniently located next to a large grocery store as well as Ikea.

The commute is a 20 minute walk or a quick Citibike or bus to the Smith-9th F/G train. You can also hop on the NYC ferry. For those with a car, parking is abundant and easy to manage in Red Hook.

I am looking to rent to a quiet, clean, and mature individual or couple. No pets allowed.

Preference will be given to those who can sublet for the entire duration. The starting date is flexible. I am willing to consider a start date as early as late December.
