I’m offering my bright and sunny 450 square foot one bedroom in Bedstuy, Brooklyn while I am away. This is my longtime home and I love it so much, so am looking for the right person to take good care of it while I’m gone. Large elevator building on Fulton Street between the C to Kingston Throop or A to Utica (5 minute walk to either train). Looking for one person. No pets or parties permitted.
* Bright sunlight during the day
* Well equipped kitchen with gas stove, pots and utensils, electric teapot, airfryer/toaster, and ninja personal blender
* Minimal furnishings and hard wood floors
* Queen memory foam bed with pillows
* Linens and towels available for a small fee
* Unit is in the back of the building, faces other buildings (not busy Fulton St)
* Elevator to 5th floor
* Shared laundry in the building at a low cost
* TV in the bedroom with an Amazon fire stick (not pictured)
* Blackout curtains in bedroom
* Bluetooth speakers in living room, Bose wired speaker in bedroom
* LOTS of cafes, grocery stores, and restaurants near apartment
* Easy to get to North or South Brooklyn on buses/trains, 30 minutes to Manhattan on the subway

I'm leaving town February 2 and can pass off the apartment that afternoon. I can show it/hand off a set of keys a day or two before then.

Rental requirements
$600 security deposit required for all stays, refundable two weeks after sublet when damages are assessed.
I expect subletters to deep clean before leaving the unit, or a $200 fee will be deducted from deposit.
* Half of rent due up front to secure booking (nonrefundable if cancelled)
* Price includes wifi and utilities (electric included up to $100 per month, I ask that you turn off electric heaters when not home to keep the bill reasonable). Apartment still has some gas heat when these are turned off.
* I require an application including copies of your ID’s, proof of available funds, and two personal references (for my own safety), but will not perform a credit check.
* Deposit and remainder of rent due in full two days before sublet
* I’m open to flexibility with dates if I am unable to find someone for the whole time, in which case two weeks will be $1400, one week will be $800 as it is harder to schedule back-to-back subletters.
