We are moving and looking for someone to take over our lease in Prospect Heights! The space is two levels, with a bedroom upstairs and access to a semi-private roof deck from the second level. Apartment windows face East, and it's on the top floor, so lots of good light in the mornings. Cross streets are Classon and St. Marks, and it's roughly equidistant to the A/C and 2/3/4/5 trains. It's also a short walk from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and lots of restaurants/bars/coffee shops on Franklin, Washington, and Vanderbilt. The building does not have an elevator, and there is coin-op laundry in the basement. Somewhat flexible on move-in date, but would ideally love someone to come in on 12/1. The management company would likely have you sign a new lease, rather than take over ours, but that can also be negotiated.
Hilary and I are in our mid thirties, and are moving only a few blocks away because we need a space with a dedicated home office. Hilary is a social worker and I work in sustainability. We will be showing the space ourselves. We can negotiate selling some of the items in the space if the next tenant wants, including a large-ish clothes storage cabinet for the bedroom.
