Bright, centrally located one bedroom apartment on the forth floor of an elevator building in Crown Heights. Fantastic neighborhood, located one block off Franklin Ave. Close to great restaurants, coffee and bars. The Brooklyn Museum, Library and Prospect Park are all under a mile away, less than ten minute walk to both the Franklin A/C stop and the Franklin-Medgar Evers 2/3/4/5 stop. The Franklin Ave S train stop is literally across the street, and connects you to the Prospect Park B/Q. I have a car and honestly parking is usually manageable within a block or two.
The S train runs outside, and it is audible. Its not the quietest block in all of Brooklyn, but hey, its Brooklyn! The apartment itself if very sound isolated within the building, and pretty quiet with the windows closed.
The apartment is sunny and comfortable, lots of light and plants. Fully furnished with queen size bed, good wifi, AC and kitchen amenities. There is a dedicated laundry for the apartment complex on the block.
Currently looking for someone to sublet starting in early January through the spring (April-May), but open to the possibility of a longer stay. I’m currently out of town, so it unfortunately wouldn’t be possible to come see the place, but happy to chat on the phone if you have any questions!
My name is Jack (he/they), I'm a musician and violin maker. I've been in the city for five years, in this apartment for three. Currently transitioning to splitting time between Brooklyn and my home town of Asheville NC.
