Hi,
I will be travelling to Europe June 5-12 and am looking for someone to sublet my newly decorated 1bd apartment for the week while I am away. My home is truly my sanctuary so I am seeking someone who will take good care of it (no maintenance just please don’t break or stain anything). The building is a fairly new high-rise with luxury amenities. The apartment is south-facing, so it is filled with sunlight all day long but you can close the shades if you want to sleep in. The large windows overlooking South Brooklyn (you can see all the way to the ocean or Coney Island) provide amazing views at dawn and dusk. The bedroom and livingroom both have smart tvs and are equipped with Firesticks (I don’t have cable).
My neighborhood is very walkable. There are delis on every corner as well as many bars and restaurants. Multiple grocery stores nearby. Prospect Park is 0.6 miles away where you can visit the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Prospect Park Carousel, Prospect Park Waterfall or Prospect Park Zoo. You could also take in a concert at the Lena Horne Bandshell, go skating as LeFrak Center rink or have a picnic at one of the sprawling lawns. There are citibike stations on almost every corner to rent for short or long bike rides. If you want to explore other parts of the city, my apartment is located walking distance to the 2/ 5 train line and the B/Q trains. There are also multiple bus lines a block or more away.
The building uses key fobs to use the elevators and access the apartment for extra security. There is also a font desk concierge on site 24/7. Please note, this is a non-smoking building but you can smoke outside.
I would love to host someone who is on vacation and looking to relax or explore the city. I am happy to provide recommendations.

I am an administrative professional and I'm traveling to Paris and London for the first time this summer. I grew up in New York City and love to tell people about all of the amazing experiences this city has to offer. I love art, plants and books so you'll see quite a lot in my apartment. I love meeting kind people with a good sense of humor and am looking forward to sharing my space.

Couples are welcome. My apartment has a lot of mirrors and sharp edges so it is not suitable for children. No pets. No parties.

For safety reasons, I'll need photo id and video chat.
