THE APARTMENT:
Sun-drenched, breezy 4th floor walk-up located in an older building but has all new appliances including a dishwasher. Laundry is available via the laundromat around the corner (no street crossings required). Access to a roof with views of Manhattan - we get good views of July 4th of fireworks.
THE BEDROOM:
Gets great natural light and is fully furnished with a full-size bed, side table, mirror, rug, black-out blinds and a large closet. New linens and towels are included if desired.
SUBLET DURATION: I am ideally looking for a long-term flatmate (3 MONTH SUBLET MINIMUM) but given the transit nature of NYC the duration is negotiable.
LOCATION:
We are a 5 minute walk to both a CityBike dock and the A/C train route. Our block is a mix of old and new residents and close to plenty of cafes and bars nearby; Daughter and Corto are two that the current tenants frequent. Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and Prospect Park ( largest park in central Brooklyn - wonderful for picnics, strolling, running, etc) are 20 mins walk away. Prospect Park hosts a Farmers market that runs every Saturday from 8am - 3pm year-round.
