Our place is ideal for a couple or a solo person looking for a winter sanctuary in NYC. 8-10 minute walk to two subway stops, running N, R, F, G lines. Our neighborhood is teeming with restaurants and all other amenities within walking distance.

The loft is well equipped for remote work, with great wifi and two work desks that each come with large monitors that can be be paired with your laptop.

We have a curtained off back area with a study and loft bed that provide privacy within the open layout. The loft-bed is queen size, under which a sofa bed is situated, which makes for a nice napping/reading/meditation corner. There's another queen bed in the living room facing the cinema screen/projector setup. Massive media library along with subscriptions to all the major streaming channels.

We cook a lot, so you will find everything you need in our spacious and well-organized kitchen – a full array of spices, a new stove-oven, an airfryer-toaster, a vitamix, etc.

The bathroom is the best room in the house, with a walk-in shower, a high-pressure shower head, and a low-maintenance family of plant friends.

The apartment also has a washer-dryer unit installed inside a walk-in closet.

This is an old building with its share of wear and tear, but with a lot of history and character. If you are looking for a newly renovated bldg with shiny appliances, this ain't your spot. Over the years, we have put a lot of love into making this an extremely comfortable and well-designed live-work space. A space like this isn't easy to come by in NYC today at this price.

We don't allow pets in this space. This is also a no-smoking home.

About This Lister

We are artists who have lived in this space for over a decade. We will be traveling for work in January for 4 months.

We're looking for a responsible adult, or a couple, to take good care of our plants and our home. This space is a creative sanctuary for us, so we are looking for someone who will appreciate the energy and love we have put into it over the years. We are the lease holding tenants, and will be the only ones you will be dealing with. If you have any needs during your stay, you will be contacting us directly, and we will always be available via phone, text or email.
