Our place is ideal for a couple or an individual looking for a winter sanctuary in NYC. 8 min walk to two subway stops (N, R, F, G lines). Our neighborhood is teeming with restaurants, a cinema, care services, and all other amenities within walking distance.

The loft is well equipped for remote work, with great wifi and two work stations that each come with large monitors that can be paired with your laptop.

We have a curtained off back area with a study and queen-size loft bed that provide privacy within the open layout. Under the loft-bed is also a sofa/day bed which makes for a nice nap spot or reading/meditation nook. There's another queen bed in the living room facing the cinema screen/projector setup. Massive media library along with subscriptions to all the major streaming channels.

We cook a lot, so you'll find everything you need in our well-organized kitchen – a full array of spices, a new stove-oven, an airfryer-toaster, a vitamix, etc.

The bathroom is the best room in the house, with a walk-in shower, a high-pressure shower head, and a low-maintenance family of plant friends. The apartment also has a washer-dryer unit installed inside a walk-in closet.

This is an old building with its share of wear and tear, but with a lot of history and character. If you are looking for a newly renovated bldg with shiny appliances, this ain't your spot. Over the years, we have put a lot of love into making this an extremely comfortable and well-designed live-work space. A space like this isn't easy to come by in NYC today at this price.

We don't allow pets in this space. This is also a no-smoking home.

About This Lister

We are artists who have lived in this space for over a decade. We will be traveling for work in January for 4 months.

We're looking for a responsible adult, or a couple, to take good care of our home and our plants. This space is a creative sanctuary for us, so we are looking for someone who will appreciate the energy and love we have put into it over the years. We are the lease holding tenants, and will be the only ones you will be dealing with. If you have any needs during your stay, you will be contacting us directly, and we will always be available via phone, text or email.
