This studio is a third-floor walk-up on the top floor of the apartment building, which has a live-in super. The west-facing 6-ft-tall windows let in a ton of natural light throughout the entire day, and the 13-ft-tall ceilings make the studio feel HUGE and very open.

The apartment has a full-size dishwasher, large refrigerator, and gas stove. The bathroom has a full tub, good water pressure, and a medicine cabinet. The apartment also has one closet and a GENEROUS storage room situated over the bathroom, which is perfect for storing winter items, backpacking gear, or other large items that are not needed year-round and take up space.

Within just two blocks of the apartment are two different laundromats, multiple grocery stores (North Star Market, Mr. Kiwi, Food Bazaar, etc.), and various great restaurants. There are a few parks within a short walk of the apartment, several Citi bike stations, and a very convenient zipcar parking lot for trips outside of or around the city. The J, M, Z lines are all just a couple minutes walk from the apartment, and the L train is a short walk through east williamsburg.

Rent includes heat and hot water, but does not include electric and gas bills, which are handled through ConEdison and Natural Grid, respectively, and are the tenant’s responsibility.

I am the current tenant. I am relocating for work and very sadly leaving this apartment behind. I’m actually ending my lease a bit early, so I am posting here to help the landlord find a new tenant to take my place (not a lease takeover, but starting a new 12-month lease).
