Spacious sun-filled furnished studio loft on prime Bushwick /East Williamsburg border - Rent & Utilities included. Non-smoking. This is the perfect spot for couples visiting the city, someone looking for a longer stay or on a business trip. It's surrounded by SO many bars, restaurants and coffee shops all within walking distance, but far enough that it is very quiet at night.
Centrally located to Jefferson L and JMZ trains at Central or Myrtle-Broadway (3-8 mins walking) for quick, easy access to Brooklyn and Manhattan.
Comfy queen-size bed with cozy bedding and linens available. Ample accent lighting throughout the apartment, in addition to overhead lighting options. Two-couch seating area with smart TV for comfy lounging, fully stocked kitchen, and dedicated work space with monitor set-up, huge bathroom with a tub, and coin laundry (and storage) in building. Sonos bluetooth speakers, Optimum hi-speed wifi, and central heat and AC. Only 8 units total, so it's a nice community feel with a handful of young professionals in their late 20s-mid 40s. Doorcode entry building with security camera in entryway for security of package deliveries, etc., very attentive landlord. Apartment is located in the back of the building on the first floor. 25 minutes to both LGA and JFK airports.
Maria Hernandez Park is at the end of block, with a track, tennis, volleyball, basketball, squash courts and a turf for soccer, etc. There are multiple family-owned, organic markets and a large grocery store all within a block of the apartment and many yoga/fitness studios in the neighborhood. Additionally, there is a yoga mat and adjustable free-weights available for your use right at home in the apartment.
Additional apartment items/amenities: Flat-bur coffee grinder and Moka Espresso maker, or Kuerig available (if that's more your thing). Plenty of reusable shopping bags for your grocery needs. Hairdryer, iron, levoit air filter and humidifier.
My name is Erika (she/her), I'm a brand strategist working and living in NYC - this is my sanctuary in this crazy city. I travel a lot, which is why I'm renting my apartment. I would still be available to you via phone/email/text and be your point of contact for any needs.
The building only has a few units, so it's a nice little creative community feel. LGBTQ+ friendly.
This is my apartment, I am the current tenant.
Reference and sublease agreement required. $1K security deposit that will be returned after apartment is vacated and left in same condition (no damage) as it was accepted. Showings can be scheduled on a case-by-case basis.
Looking for someone clean and respectful who will take of my space as their own. Open to month-to-month and semi-flexible on dates.
